Opening the
entrance
We fabricated the new entrance sign for Cherry Grove Cemetery, prepared the site and installed the sign and posts.
The work turned an overgrown approach into a cleared, clearly marked driveway. A place that was easy to overlook now has an entrance people can find.
Preparing
the site
Our work extended beyond the sign itself. We cleared and opened the approach, prepared the post locations and built the concrete footings that support the entrance.
Cutting and
assembling the sign
We plasma-cut the lettering panel and assembled the curved frame in the shop. A light backing panel makes the cemetery name stand out against the dark powder-coated steel.
Installing
the entrance
We brought the finished sign and posts to the site and installed them on the prepared footings. The arch spans the driveway, marking the route into the cemetery.
Marking a
historic cemetery
A plaque on the left post displays the cemetery’s historic designation from the Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries.
